Hi Aubrey,

Thank you for having Dr. John Demartini on your podcast. I have never heard of him before, yet a lot of what he discussed is similar to many of the teachings I have heard throughout my education and career.

Your marketing team did a great job pulling out the one subject that would get my attention. If you had started with his statement, “I’m not going to pacify my research for any human being on this planet, nobody.” I would have laughed and probably wouldn’t have wasted my time.

Admittedly, it was not an easy listen. There was a lot of cross-talk, and the subject material is getting old to listen to. I don’t mean that as an insult to you; I’m just exhausted from having the conversation about the abuse of children, seeing as I’ve been part of that conversation since before I was born.

I decided I’m going to be his counterbalanced perception. As to the Laws of Similarities and Differences, I have come to the belief that some laws are meant to be broken, or more so, be changed. I’d be happy to break some laws for very specific reasons. I make the active choice not to participate in physical violence, though I would if a situation arose and it were absolutely necessary. That is one of my personal values. I would not want to be viewed as a hero or a villain; I just believe there are certain things that should not be happening. Like bullying and child abuse.

We can go down the road of whether bullying is good or bad, and who’s right or who’s wrong. I understand bullying and where it comes from. I also do what is necessary to stop it. Which ultimately requires finding its source and eliminating it. Which I have become really good at. Do I have to be the bully in that process? Sometimes, but I prefer to make people tap out with respect.

He lost some respect when he referred to himself as a Neurologist and Behavioral specialist. He is a Chiropractor, whose profession I have a lot of respect for. I actually prefer to see Chiropractors as my primary care doctor. But he is not a Neurologist or a Behavioral specialist. He is also not a doctor I would go to. At least not at this point in my life. I don’t trust doctors who aren’t willing to pacify their research. I find that to be quite limited in belief.

I have a master’s degree in psychology and have formal training in Reiki, Astrology, and nutrition. As a professional, I identify as a psychotherapist, Astrologist, and Reiki healer. I trained in a clinical setting as part of the licensing process. I experienced and witnessed firsthand the dangers of doctors’ teachings, theories, and limited beliefs. I very much agree with your perspective that his teachings, as presented, are dangerous.

With Care,

Christina Fitch, MA
